Landscape photography from West Burra beach in the Shetland Islands
Testing out a newly purchased Acratech panoramic head alongside a 6-stop ND filter from Lee Filters during a family holiday to the Shetland Islands, which are located to the north of Scotland. Rain from the approaching cloud totally soaked us not long after. From a technical perspective, a 6-stop ND filter is much better suited to landscape photography at dawn or dusk but on this occasion it allowed me use an exposure of 0.4 seconds, which pleasingly blurred the waves just slightly.
