Mountain landscape - Scotland

Stob Coire nam Beith
Dawn light illuminates Stob Coire nam Beith summit as clouds fill the corrie beneath Stob Coire nan Lochan on the Munro, Bidean nam Bidean, above Glen Coe, Scotland.
This is an example of me being in the right place at the right time and ready to take photographs. Within minutes of capturing this picture, the mist you can see on the lower-left of the photograph intensified, filling in the corrie beneath Stob Coire nan Lochan and drifting upwards to obscure my view of Bidean nam Bian. I was located across the glen, having ascended the Munro, Am Bodach, on Aonach Eagach the evening before and sleeping out, but there was no photography opportunities and this is the second of just two images I was able to capture of Bidean nam Bian at dawn before I packed up and descended because of the arrival of, first, thick mist, and then daylight.
