Buachaille Etive Mòr 3.45am

My (very) early morning thoughts here were that I was simply adding more noise to the Buachaille Etive Mòr story, rather than signal, by taking photographs similar to those captured by many photographers before me. (I’d positioned myself on Beinn A’Chrulaiste, the Corbett across the A82 road). My self-justification was that there’s only one photograph from this location on this day, and at this exact time - which I’m confident to say as I was the only photographer on the hill - and I did attempt to inject some originality into the scene by composing my image without the road or the River Coupall in shot. A justification however is perhaps not 100% required because at the end of the day a wonderful location is exactly that - a wonderful location. I’ll definitely be back, preferably in Winter.
