Buachaille Etive Mòr

Captured around 11.30am one Sunday morning after I returned from an evening bivvy on another Munro in Glen Coe.

Obvious out of the clouds left of centre is the sunlit Rannoch Wall, with Curved Ridge, a famous Grade 3 scramble to the summit of Buachaille Etive Mòr (best I’d propose via an ascent of Crowberry Tower) to its immediate left. Just as obvious though is 'D' Gully Buttress, scene of more than one mountain rescue in Scotland, with groups periodically mistaking it for Curved Ridge. North Buttress is to the right of the sunlit face, just right of centre, with Crowberry Gully on its left.
